ALBANIAN MEDIA SCENE VS. EUROPEAN STANDARDS: WHAT RULE OF LAW IN THE MEDIA SECTOR?

The project aims to scan the media situation in Albania vs Council of Europe indicators. Through the main activities of this project – the research of media situation in Albania based on CoE’s indicators for media in a democracy, its publication, and its public discussion, AMI and its partners plan to raise awareness among stakeholders on the current media situation, areas that need reform or improvement, and potential involvement for specific actors, whether they are state institutions, media, or civil society. The project will be implemented from the Albanian Media Institute in co-operation with other Albanian organizations.
