Media and Information Literate Youth: A cornerstone to implementing Access to Information policies in South East Europe

The public health crisis that swept the world this year has once again revealed the importance of our’ right to know’ and the ability to think critically about the information we encounter.

Join UNESCO in an online discussion about youth’s crucial role in implementing Access to Information (ATI) policies and media and information literacy policies and strategies South East Europe, organized in commemoration of the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) and Global Media & Information Literacy Week 2020.

The webinar will address the existing challenges relating to the implementation of the ATI laws in the region, exacerbated and increased during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the youth’s potential to overcome these challenges, principally through their MIL empowerment.
